I cannot thank you enough for this contact. I am already so totally in love with this breed and I don't even own one. My daughter wants one of the opposite sex so we might could have more in our area! I am so very excited.

There are several Livestock Gaurdian Dog breeds.

The Great Pyrs and the Anatolians are the most well know, but there are others such as Maremmas and Kuvascz or Komondors

They are all very old breeds and very good at what they do.
I prefer Maremmas, but I'm a little biased LOL

What an adorable picture. Thank you for the further information. I will be checking them all out. I have other dogs, but they like the inside and I want one to stay with my livestock at night and during the day.
Hopefully now I can find a llama or alpaca to play with too.
