Um, 5 chicks, 1 to go. Pipped early today, sat there with a small hole and then in about 2 seconds, was out and fluffing.

no it was definitely separate to the main mass I saw. It looked like a ball was rolling around just under the air sac. I ? the egg because I thought maybe the chick had died and was starting to disintegrate, and that ball was a bit of the chick... however clearly thats not the case as its now pipped. I'll check the shell once it hatches and see if I can figure out what I saw... mystery!!

today was lockdown for my last two eggs. went to candle them to make sure they were still kicking, and guess what!! one egg Pipped early!! i had to move it quick into the hatcher. i do dry incubation and there was no moisture in the bator for it to hatch. after moving it to the hatcher it hatched perfectly. now i have a baby!! its soo cute!! will post pics later! last egg due Friday!!
