I spent yesterday evening on the phone w/ a Lyon Tech. tech re: the suro. The humidity has bumped up as it was supposed to but when I check the temp w/ the hygrometer it's 95.7-not very comforting.

I may just keep them all in the LG and load the wells with strips of sponge to see if that helps the humidity. Oh, yes and prayer...

Any suggestions?

I would put another thermometer in there and check. If the suro is telling you the correct temp, I think I'd believe that over a thermometer, but check with another one.

I don't think you want the hen eggs moving. The chicks have to orient themselves to the position that they need to hatch. It's very important.

hubby swears he heard peeps today, he didnt know that was part of the process so I tend to believe him. I still have rocking eggs but no pips or peeps

Day 20
14 eggs
movement: some
peeps: none
Pips: no evidence
temp: 101.5 (still air)
humidity: 64%

meh! I want babies!

What do you think is more vital at this point, temp or humidity?
I'm leaning towards humidity but am not sure. My suro heater/regulator
must have taken a beating, I cranked it to 104.3 and the tried and true
hygrometer reads 97.3 this am!!! Do you think that's warm enough for
their hatch? Don't want to move them back to LG until I get feedback!!!
I'll look on here to see if there's info...
