Good News and Bad news. The Bad news is......when I got home from work today the incubator was 109 degrees! I cannot believe it!! It was 100 last night and yesterday into this morning. I don't know how it got up to 109??? I am VERY sad! Cannot believe it. This has happened before but didnt get up that high, why did this happen, should I not trust the heater in the incubator anymore????? Sad and puzzled!
GOOD NEWS!!!!!!!
I got 2 new chicks!!!!!! One is a BCM and one is a BO!!!!! They hatched yesterday afternoon. Another one started a pip and then died with its beak peeking out of the hole.
Anyway Here are some pictures.

ok so here is the brood:

They really just look like barred rocks except the 3 buff rock eggs hatched yellow headed chickens. I wish there was a way to sex link them

so 10 in the brooder
1 just hatched into the bator
2 eggs pipped but no progress
1 solid egg (btw the solid unpipped egg is chilly willy)
