Hello,
I have a 2.5 week old Black Australorpe. Yesterday when I was checking on the chicks, I picked up the black Australorpe but he tried to fly out of my hand. It was not from very high up but it seemed to lack balance and landed in its brooder on its head. Since then I have paid close attention to it to make sure it is okay but have noticed it is acting very strangely (this could have been happening before the fall but I am unsure). It keeps curling its neck under its body to scratch while walking backward and/or curling its neck under its body while on the small roost. When it does this movement, it seems to have very poor balance and often falls over or flaps its wings before falling off the roost onto its head or side. It also doesn't appear to want to look upwards and tends to have its head facing forwards or towards to ground. It is however eating and drinking regularly. I do have multiple videos of it doing the movements but I am unsure how to post on here. Thanks in advance for your responses!
