He never said that but did carry a big stick...and busted up my great uncles still with it too. I live in McNairy County. It still amazes me how many people know about Bufford Pusser, the local yokel that Hollywood made famous. Around here..it's more of a joke. But I did get to meet Dwayne Johnson AKA The Rock when he was in town researching for his role in the new Walking Tall movie

My 13 year old son would come and take care of your chicken problem if you were closer. He helps me with butchering and is pretty good at it.

LOL Thanks every one but (because of family problems) if i kill the stupid thing i'll end up in really big trouble. My mom said something about spraying it with a water? Has anyone heard of this?
Thanks again

Don't tell your mom that was my idea either.

I had a roo attack me as I was ducking into our run. He scratched my face and I got a nasty infection in my eye and sinuses requiring drops and pills for 10 days. You could wait for that to happen to you or you could tell whoever owns the bird to contain the da*n thing or you'll handle it! I have NO sympathy for an aggressive roo. And your family should protect you too. No, water wont do anything... if you act aggressively toward it AT ALL he will just fight back at a later time when your guard is down. He needs to be contained or eaten.

Okay, i'm not understanding why a parent would allow their child to be attacked by a rooster. If your mom won't call animal control, ask your teacher at school to call for you.

. . . and i agree that fighting back with a rooster only makes them meaner. Of course, if you are out on the street and one comes after you, you have to defend yourself. How about carrying an umbrella and flapping it in his face when he comes up. It may scare him. Or an air horn? A squirt bottle with vinegar in it?
