Oh thank goodness! I'm sure there also a thread on here for ppl from Florida that you may find someone close that could take them in if you can't keep them

Thanks, I'll see what I can do. We have a small house, with no garage or shed or any secure place other than inside the house. Trying to convince hubby to let them inwhile trying to see if I can't find someone else who keeps chickens to take them.
I don't know about sugar ratio, hopefully someone will answer. You could crumble some hard boiled egg yolk for them...amyone want to chime in on either option?. Were you actually able to catch them?
They were under dead mama's wing in what I guess was their nest on the other side of the fence.
She sure protected those chicks keeping them under her wing.
I thought he was joking at first. He gave them to somebody who approached him. He says the person says they have birds and would care for them, but I'm kinda ****** he didn't ask me or get more information from these people, or at least inform them on how to care for them if they didn't know (I'm still baffled as to why he felt he had any authority to give away something that wasn't his). I would've at the very least liked to get their info to check up on them (my kids would've wanted to visit. They cried this morning because they thought they'd be at my friend's house and they could visit and watch them grow). Whatever, I guess there's nothing I can do about it now. I hope they're okay.
