Need help ASAP my hen quit sitting at day 17 what do I do?

I have to wonder if the hen didn't abandon the eggs because she could sense a problem with them? That said, definitely remove any that could explode or leak and foul up your incubator. Other than that I would be tempted to let the others go for a few days, just to see.

Sounds like you caught it before it leaked material onto the other eggs or the bator.

The air sack is on the bottom eggs?? I was told to put my eggs in the incubator pointy side down with air sack filling the top/fat end.. are they laid on their sides??

Lay them on their side. If you can mark the lowest point in the air cell put that facing up. Im going through the same thing you are, my friend... My silkie stopped sitting after 18 days. They were cold for about 10 hours. All my chicks were still but started moving an hour after they Warmed back up. They have been in lockdown ever since and now it's day 23 and still no action, not even a little jiggle. I'm so sad

Yes, for hatching you lay them on their side. The egg will have the fat end just a little higher than the pointy end, as nature intended.
