Need help asap new to hatching ducks

Hello everyone any help would be much appreciated. I have 2 aylesbury ducklings one piped nearly 2 days ago and the other a few hours later. They have piped at the wrong end both of them for some reason. Anyway I made a little hole in the membrane 12 hours later as nothing had happened and I was worried they couldn't breath. I have then left them and it's been about a day and a half since then I can see their beaks but no progress at all obe kicked a tiny bit of the shell off bit thats it. I really don't know what to do for the best how do you know if their shrink wrapped or not?how long can they stay in the shell without it causing any issues?here is a photo of them at the moment breathing and cheeping the humidity is at 70 on the hydrometer and the incubator has condensation any help much appreciated. Im really worried and want to do the best for them

Just wanted to update that they are now out with help and are drying as we speak I honestly don't think they would have hatched as the membrane was quite rubbery and tough so I think it was best they are looking sooo sweet

Hello we have one very healthy duckling but the other is not so good this was the egg we were worried about he/she is out of as the other was but is still on his side opening eyes occasionally but shaking and lying on his side seems to just jerk his body and legs but hasn't got up since he hatched just on side he is in incubator still to try an give hi, the best chance but no idea what's wrong any help would be appreciated very sad as he is perfectly formed and just lovely feel useless

Iv tried giving him a little water too with a pipet he 8s drying out but just laying on side and kicking legs an moving head about but nothing else the other was up and falling over within a few hours

Do not give them anything by force..They don't need anything until they fully absorb the yolk. You could aspirate them.

Thankyou for your reply I haven't managed anything he is still not getting up on his side doesn't seem to be able to hold his weight or anything just shaking his feet then stops eyes open a bit but just rolls over this is since yesterday what do you think is the problem?what can I do?really need help want to do what's best for him
