NEED HELP ASAP PLEASE

after some advice my chicks were due to be born on monday - 21 days .. they have been under the hen all the time and the first one came on monday 21 days - the second on 22 days and the 3rd and 4th 3rd day .. its now day 25 and the eggs are not pipping anymore.. has anyone hatched them thereselves ... i want to be patient but am unsure as its got to 25 days now and a lot of websites have said if i am very careful etc with tweezers i can assist .. i did help the first one out this way as she was struggling a little and i didnt want her to die .. all 4 chicks i currently have are very healthy and doing well .. all fluffed up and chirping !

I would candle them if I were you. Take them to a dark area and shine a flashlight in the air sac to the see whats going on inside. If you haven't candled before, there could be bad eggs that you should take out. If it's partically clear with no movement, it could be an embryo that died early. If it's a weird consistent shade in the egg, and it has an odor coming from the shelll, then it's rotton. If it's almost completely clear, it wasn't fertile. Take those eggs out, if you see eggs that are completely dark except the air sac and you see slight movements, or felt movement in your palm, those are good eggs that should still hatch. A few of my hens don't built a nest first, instead they lay 1 egg and decide that they are broody and will not leave that egg slowly adding to the nest so that the chicks hatch one every day. If it posible yours did this? You can help being very careful, but I highoy recommend you don't. If they were laid later or anything without you knowing, it could kill them since they probably have not shut off their blood supply from the membrane and probably haven't absorbed the remainer of their yolks. After a few days if nothing is moving, take care to open up the eggs and you can try to figure out why they have died.
