I have four farm ducks all together, got it from the local TSC. All the ducks were doing great. Then I noticed one duck was smaller than the rest and not growing as fast. I thought it was because he was a runt or something. Then a day later, he began to not eat and continued to sit around while the other ducks, which are much bigger than him ate. The next day came around and he started to wobble whenever he stood up. It was a hot day so I let them out of their coops to go play in the pond for them, but he continued to not move so I picked him up and moved him to the pond and sat next to it to make sure he wasn't going to drown. The following day, I noticed that he can't even stand without falling. There is discharge, a very small amount of crust, coming from his eyes. He looks really sick. I picked him up and separated him from the rest of the group thinking it was some sort of flu. I noticed he wasn't eating nor drinking anything that night so I forced him to drink water with a syringe, went to bed and the next morning he was still not feeling it. I brought him back out to his little family to get him to see them (Since I heard that ducks can't actually be away from other ducks for a long period of time) went to the store and came back to see him now on his back and can't get back up, when i put him up right, he was opening his mouth to breathe. His heart rate is rapid, I went out to get some vitamins and that didn't seem to help right away, (Though I doubt it would right away) He isn't hot so I know he isn't overheating, but I don't know what else to do and the vet's clinic that sees ducks is almost a 3 hour drive away from me, one way. I don't know what to do nor if I should go to the vets right away or wait to see if the vitamins will work and continue to force him to drink water. I just need help asap.

How old are the ducks?? If you have or can quickly get some Nutridrench, that is my favorite go-to vitamin for birds. It works the fastest.

How does his poop look? What are you feeding them all? Could he have gotten into anything toxic/poisonous? Did you check him over for injuries?

I'm sorry, I'm about to head out, so I can't stick around to help any further. Maybe @Miss Lydia @casportpony can offer some suggestions

Poor little one does sound like he is pretty sick may need an antibiotic. If you can get a good video and some pics as well that would be great.

Be careful forcing water it can go down the wrong way it can cause the duckling to aspirate.
