Need help baby chick won’t walk

Hey, my hen was laying on some eggs and almost all hatched and survived out of 5 eggs 2 are with the mama chick and one sadly died ( I think the mama killed it) and I have and egg and a chick that stayed in the egg for 1 1/2 days I helped her get out but she still staying in egg laying position and I’m a little worried is that normal for her to stay like that? Sorry if this is confusing I’m just a little worried for the chick

You should separate them from the hen and put them in a brooder with a light. Don’t just take the one out by itself, it will get lonely and die. Good luck!

We plan on taking the others when this chick is strong but rn it just keeps sleeping and acting like it’s still in the egg

How long ago did it hatch? Hatching is a very exhausting process, so the chicks may not move much for the first 24 hours. Is it not moving at all?

he was born yesterday but couldn’t get out of the egg so I helped him out. His little toes just curl up

Is he trying to move? Cheeping loudly? His toes could be curled and that may be why he’s unable to walk.
