I had this problem a few years back, sulmet was the answer. It is available at your feed store.I contacted the guy I bought them from and he said they may have a sulfa deficentcy, and to give them sulmet once a week.
In N.H.,Tony.

What kind of food are they getting?

How long have you had it?

Is it stored in a dry location?

Is it clumpy or does it seem to have any mold in it?

Does it smell "off"?

Im still using last years.I cleaned it out real good before i put my new birds in.I keep there food in trash can with a lid inside my shop. it looks good smells fine. I have had the food only couple months.

not sure where your at, but cold damp ground ,doesn't help , last year birds ...sounds like cocci could be your problem, try medicated feed for a few weeks. Worm them also

i use safe guard for goats, from TSC. 3 cc per gal of water for 3 days then again in 14 days. sulmet will help if cocci or medicated feed. cocci is in the ground every where.
