So I have 2 water cups and a 5 gallon bucket for the water system.
What I want to do is NOT use the PVC pipe and use the clear flexable tubing I have. It is like the air tubing you see for a fish tank.
I want to use this for 2 reasons.

1) I have it, and it fits onto the water cups easy.

2) easy to place or move the water cups if I need to. I am thinking of having 5 gal in coop with one cup and run the tube outside for a cup out there.

What I need help with is this.... How do I get the tubing to stay IN the 5 gal bucket and not leak?

Could I, Glue it in there? Maybe use a zip tie on the inside (glued to the tube) so it will not slip out- maybe on the outside as well?

Anyone ever do this set up?

I have googled it and most still use the pvc pipe on the bucket.

Any ideas?

Barbed fitting glued/screwed into the bucket with a hose clamp on the tube if you are worried it will come off?

It will be inside the coop, so no sun light.
But that was one other reason for not using the PVC. I can see inside of it and I could disconnect it to clean it when I clean the bucket.

I wonder if I heat the tube up stick it through the hole and flange it out as it cools if it would hold...
