I’m a brand new member and new to chickens. We got our first 6 chicks from a local farmer at around 4 weeks old (sexed as 1 male, 5 females) told they are barred rock mixed w/ black sussex. They are now around 13 weeks old, 2 have started crowing, I know that’s a dead giveaway. However, I have 3 others that I am suspicious may be cockerels as well since they appear to have sickle feathers and the begginnings of saddle feathers. Can anyone help please? I have been making myself crazy trying to figure this out!

First pic is my pullet (atleast I think she is?). Pics 2 to 4 are my wildcards (cockerels??) Pics 5 & 6 habe been trying to crow (I am sure about them).

If you are set up to do so, you could move the known crowing cockerels away from the others (maybe large dog crate in the garage??) for an afternoon and overnight, and see if any of the others start to crow. I've had cockerels not crow because they weren't the top cockerel, and when I processed the top (crowing) cockerel, someone else started crowing right away, or in a few days at most!

I may try this. The second guy only started crowing the other morning and none have since. Thank you!

The seller either really didn't know, and told you what you wanted to hear, or did know, ditto.
There's no way you can keep this group together when these boys start harassing what we all hope is your one pullet; move the cockerels on soon, or plan on having freezer space for them. And get more pullets, not from the original seller.
