She may be the "dominate" hen and she gets more food than the others.. does she ever show signs of being dominate???

Obesity is sorta not something I can get away in a organism other than people... people can work out, chickens can't.. this may sound stupid but they have leashes for chickens if u can invest in one and take her on long stroll through your yard two to three times daily

That's what I would do for a obese chicken and if I'm not mistaking I think that the leashes purpose is for overweight chickens made specially for chickens

I have a dominate hen that doesn't bully for food she bully's by pulling the other girls feathers out she even goes to such limits to pull out the roosters feathers!!!! She is fixin to meet the pot and some boiling watEr

All of my chickens free range from dawn to dusk and are spread out over several acres. They can eat as much as they want. No hen guards the two feeders.

She doesn't have to guard the feeder for her to be dominate of the feeders.... she can be dominate by invading others personal space and stealing there treats from the yard and over time she gets use to that and she steals everyone's stuff and even spends most of her time at the feeder and then she gets obese

Obesity can also be a genetically inherited traits from her mom or Dad.. did u hatch that hen or did u buy the chick

Unfortunately not much can be done.
You can drain some fluid but either way she will pass.
Read through the page I posted earlier..It explains thing pretty simply.
