Need help fast please.. HELP PLEASE

the cup with damp paper towels is a great idea, i would alo put something on the yolk to prevent infection, betadine, bacitracin, what do you have on hand?
I haven't ever used a bator or had to take an egg from it's mama thankfully. So I am reluctant to give much info about something like this.

Thanks for adding your opinion.

I haven't, with the yolk that big, but I did save one with a smaller yolk sac. Ended up tying the remainder off with dental floss as a last ditch effort.

The lack of an eye points to congenital problems and paralysis is very concerning.

All you can do is comfort care really. Prevent rupture, infection, worse dehiscence, etc. There's always a few that beat the odds, so if it is not suffering I try to help. Any signs of distress, I cull.

No distress really. He is pretty quiet . seems comfy. I put him in a little bowl, added ointment to the sac and am trying to keep the sac moist. He is moving his legs, head and wings a little more. The sac might be a little smaller but not much..

And one picture of the other 2 I saved a couple days ago..

Thank you.

That's great to hear! You are doing great, keep up the good work

Curiously, have you ever been able to save one like this? -Kathy
Never had one that big either. Small one on a duck, it recovered. A bit larger one on a bantam chick. Healed fine, but the chick still failed to thrive.
