I woke up and i saw that they humidity of the incubator was about 15% I added water and the humidity went up to 43% (and I think still going up but slowly) and the temp. went down to 98.1 (and I think still going down but slowly) is that good? im very nervous and it took me a lot of time to find this eggs and I don't want them to die! HELP!

hang tight. it will probably be okay. when i add water, i add HOT water.

just check it again soon and make sure the temp and humidity stabilize.

hope everything works out just clucky!

Relax! What day are you on? That temp is fine, it's better to be lower than higher. Do you have a fan or a still air?

Take a deep breath! LOL Remember, when a mother hen sits on her eggs, she gets up to go eat and drink and poo. Think of this episode as the broody gettiing up for a stretch.

Everything will be fine. Yes - use hot water next time, it helps to maintain the temp.

I've had broody's get off for over an HOUR

it was in the middle of summer but I was still pacing around the coop like a crazy woman!

If you have the still air bator you need to get the temp back up to around 100 to 101. The humidity is fine at where it is. I use the dry incubation method and never use more than 40% humidity in the incubation stage. You are just fine
