Need help for my baby keets. All looked fine, now bleeding and dieing

Hello guys, recently I hatched a bunch of keets from an incubator, and they seemed to be doing fine and active. We placed them in a box with the heat lamp as usual and a few hours later, they are all lying about completely dead with blood coming from their mouth. Any idea what this is and how to save/prevent this??? Thank you

I don't believe so, it's stainless steel

Its possible for overheating but I placed the heat lamp at a respectable hight. What would the effects of Teflon do? And how do I make sure the light is not trleflon?

Get that bulb out of there immediatly in case it is teflon coated. sometimes they are not labaled as such. If it is "shatterproof" then it is teflon coated.

Oh that's terrible! Sounds like it's Teflon poisoning, some of these lamps do have Teflon. Always use bulbs that are listed for poultry. I am so sorry.

Not the housing. The bulb. When heated Teflon gives off toxic fumes that are very dangerous to poultry chicks.
