Hello guys, recently I hatched a bunch of keets from an incubator, and they seemed to be doing fine and active. We placed them in a box with the heat lamp as usual and a few hours later, they are all lying about completely dead with blood coming from their mouth. Any idea what this is and how to save/prevent this??? Thank you
Sorry for the circumstances. Any possibility that you are using a Teflon coated bulb or that the keets are overheating?
Sounds like it's Teflon poisoning, some of these lamps do have Teflon. Always use bulbs that are listed for poultry. I am so sorry.
Glad you joined.
