need help hard lump on Silkies wing

i have black silkie unknown age got from a neighbor about a month ago. Me and my wife was out checking our chickens and found a lump on his wing. i attached a picture of it. It is hard and no puss coming out don't know what to do.

Does the lump seem to hurt her?

I don’t know for sure but the two things that come to mind are a feather cyst from an ingrown feather, or a tumor. Tumors can be common and may be hard and irregular in shape. Here is some info on feather cysts:

You may want to open it with a needle or tweezers to see if you can find an ingrown feather or squeeze any sebum or pus out of it. Has it grown quickly?

Ok it will be around the first when I can do that so I can get things to clean it up

Do you have any simple disinfectant and a sewing needle in the house? Makeup tweezers are fine too. It shouldn’t take a lot of buying. Mostly, it involves a bit of digging and squeezing, not cost.

If you cannot get anything out when you lance and squeeze it, or if it just bleeds, it is more likely a tumor.
