How long between the initial pip and hatch should a button quail egg take? There was a tiny little pip on my button egg at around 11:00 pm last night and there has been absolutely no progress since then. The time is now 7:37 pm. That's over 20 hours without any progress. At what point should I start to worry and think about helping it out? I already upped the humidity but I can't tell by how much. At around 3 pm today it had started it's 18th day in the incubator. Is that too long for a button quail egg? Any advice would be appreciated.
