Need help, I think its urgent? My sister's Cayuga Duck cant stand

although I dont think this is the end of recovery for her, she honestly really did not look too good, but this is such an improvement from earlier so I think she will be able to make a full recovery, im still crossing my fingers because she still doesnt seem ready to go back with the other ducks, but she does seem a lot better. I am still a little bit confused because of how quickly she made those big improvements, but I am happy she did.

That is great to hear. I would still get the liquid b complex it's a good product to have on hand and she still needs it. You want her fully recovered for at least close to a week. Plus it is recommended they be on niacin until at least 10 weeks old. The Liquid B complex is the best to use. When one is having problems.

Keep up with the niacin even after she fully recovers make sure to continue with some as she msg just need more
I have a few questions
How old is she ?
What age did you get her and what was her feed from start to now including any treats you may give
Was it your grass area or a park ?
Is she laying eggs yet ?
She is 6 weeks old, we got her shipped and I believe she was a day old when we got her she was probably 4 days or something along that, as far as treats go, its my sister's duck, but I know she got peas, possibly some other leafy greens. I don't know the brand of feed but if its important I could check, it was my grassy area not a park or any public area, she is not laying eggs yet

The feed is a bit important
Ducklings should be on duck feed or if on chicken feed it needs to be
Starter non medicated for first 2-3 weeks then switched to grower till she starts to lay eggs then layer
Up to 10 weeks of age niacin needs to be added
Brewers yeast or I prefer nutritional yeast 1tbs to 1 cup of feed
Any treats given you should be adding chick grit although she can probably handle regular grit now. Ducks need this to digest any feed other then the food
So what she has been on will help us to figure out what could be happening
Is your grass sprayed at all with chemicals for weeds ?
How is she doing now ?

I believe she is on a duckling crumble mixed in with a pellet diet, she has not been getting any niacin supplements, I will let my sister know that she should start that. They have chick grit plus whatever they find outside. Our grass is not sprayed with chemicals as far as im aware, she is doing great right now.

That’s awesome news
Maybe it was a niacin issue
I even still sprinkle nutritional yeast on my adult feed
Not as much as little ones get
Also doing the B complex in water weekly will also help
Separate bowl of water 1ml per 4 cups
I believe
@Miss Lydia knows the correct amount if you are just doing it to prevent not treat the issue
I do this for my ducks as well
