Need help identifing a duckling

My husband and a coworker rescued this little babe. Sadly mom and the other ducklings didn't make it. We have aptly named the little one Lucky. We have no idea how old or what kind. Any help would be most appreciated. He's pretty young because he is just all fluff right now. His legs are jet black if that helps at al.

Awww, he's soooo cute!! Sorry about the others. What happened to them? I'm no expert but I'm going to guess Mallard. Good luck with Lucky!!

Breaks my heart but the were hit by a truck. Hubby and his coworker did all they could but it was too late. Hubby finished his shift with Lucky either in his shirt pocket or on the seat next to him. Lucky has an appointment with the vet in two weeks. I was just hoping to get an idea on what s/he is before then.

He said she looked like a washed out mallard. He said her colors were more lt tan white, peach and sky blue. She also had the all black feet and legs. Does that help at all?

Looks like a swedish or swedish X to me, maybe a splash swedish

If they were wild ducks, maybe a Wigon or a Green Winged Teal. The problem with identifying wild birds is I only get a good look at their butts as their flying away.
