Now people are really throwing out random guesses.


It is a purebred Ameraucana. Why do I say this? Because one of the more well known blue/black/splash Ameraucana breeders, Cree Farms, has a tendancy, like the breeders who got from their stock, to throw birds without beard/muffs. I myself have a few pullets left with such trait when I first started purchasing Ameraucanas.

His body type and eye shape especially confirm it. He looks very much like one of my blue cockerels, except of course without a beard and muffs, a lack of tail feathers, and bigger wattles.
