need help identifying breed of my chick

yes it did start out the same size. There was that little one, six cochins, 4 bantam chicks that are all white and a silver lace wyandot. Silly question but - does glw mean golden lace wyandot? because they mentioned that type of bird when they were trying to remember what was in the order.

Yes, GLW is gold-laced wyandotte. Mine looked nothing like your slow-feathering chick as a baby though, so that's not what yours is. This is her at 12 days.

Some of them are feathered buff and some red. This morning the little chick is getting some red feathers on its back. I got them from meyer hatchery. We only live an hour away so we went and picked up our order. While we were waiting for our chicks to be brought out I picked out a bantam mille fleur and a bantam black frizzle. While I was doing that DH spotted the box of week olds and bought them for me so I had no idea what most of them are. They are cute though.

Wow, I'm clueless, except that they're all individuals and maybe she just won't be as big as the others in the end. If the feathers/fluff are on her feet, then she is a cochin. If it's just on her legs, I think she'd be a brahma. But I've never had either, so it's just a guess.

Maybe if you changed your topic line or started a new thread with cochin in the topic, you'd get people who actually knew about them? Sorry I'm not more of a help.
