Need help identifying chick

I think they’re saying that it might be a cross between silkie and Brahma.

It wouldn’t have silkie feathers if it was crossed with a Brahma though, so I doubt it’s very likely that it’s a cross.

Yup definitely a little silkie!

I think the mystery is solved! If the chance that it's a brahma-silkie cross is ruled out, then the chick is most likely a cross between our black silkie hen and our blue silkie rooster. Thanks for your help!

To get the silkie feathers you have to have 2 copies of the gene I believe so the only possibly combination is silkieXsilkie, unless one of your other chickens has the silkie feather gene..

What a cutie though!
