Need help identifying my chickens breed and gender.

I've gotten mine from McMurray, and I'm pretty sure the other hatcheries have them. They're shy, but nice.

My brown leghorn hens look just like the last photo in Harrishenhouse 's last post.
My brown leghorns are really friendly and lay many eggs for me

I really like the white leghorn hen in that pic.

She came from a farm in AZ. i am hoping she is a good layer however she isn't laying yet...i can't wait for my first egg. They all shut down for the winter in October right when i got them. just waiting....

If they came from McMurray shouldn't they be purebred? #3 is definitely a Cuckoo Maran.

For instance...the RIR's that they sell are usually a lighter color. This could mean that they had a NHR or a Buff Orp in there to increase size or egg production.

Plus...if it was put in as an "assortment" they could theoretically add in mixed breeds as packing peanuts, etc.
