Hi there! I was wondering if you might be able to help me identify my little chicken. She is a year old and we think she just started laying eggs. She was in the box but we don’t know which egg is hers since we have several that are just starting to lay. I thought she would never lay since she is a year old but I found her in the box yesterday. Her feathers have a greenish shine to them in the sun.

She is really tiny. Smaller than the silkies we have. She isn’t friendly and every time we pick her up she squirts very watery poop on us.

We have another girl that looks just like her but much larger. She doesn’t lay either and she is a year old.

Any chance you might know what she is?

Black leghorn?

I think the White Faced Black Spanish bantam might be the winner. We have some new small white eggs that are new but we didn’t know if those were hers since we have some young silkies and there was also a new smaller brown one in there too.
