Need help identifying my little rooster!

Hello everyone! I am new to chicken raising and do not know much about the different breeds. I received 5 chicks(2 black and 3 red/white) from my moms school. She is a teacher at a local preschool. The school asked if I would be willing to take the chicks if they hatched a few eggs for the kids to see and of course I said yes! The 3 red/white chicks I believe are just mixed breed (ex. Rhode Island Red mix) but I am not sure about the 2 black chicks. The rooster looks completely different then the other black hen. All the chicks hatched from either a brown or white egg. Please help!!

I think they’re all mixed breeds.

They’re pullets and cockerels. They won’t be hens and roosters until they are 1 year old.

Welcome to BYC. The chicks appear to be crossbred, and a couple of the red birds may also be cockerels. Time will tell the tale.

i see a tint of green in those legs. maybe a bit of Americana in the mix. the black one is definitely a boy.
