Need help identifying this bird

We just bought all the livestock on a farm that was recently sold today when they delivered I notice one of these. Now I'm new to chickens but I'm fairly sure this is a turkey. Second opinions please.

Nope, not a turkey. A chicken, likely barnyard mix.

It has a comb, it's a chicken. Looks like it might be a Silkie mix.

Then that's a relief, they said they were all laying hens I just wanted to make sure there was nothing else in there

Well, I wouldn't put money on it being a hen without knowing age, but it's a silkie mix chicken.

Thanks all, our chicken coop is growing every week. Tomorrow we will add the last addition of birds bringing our coop up to 60 laying hens

I do have one other concern on sex, the farmer we got them from had all barnyard mixes and insisted they were all hens I will post a picture in the am
