This is really strange because when I slightly moistened his feed, he started eating eagerly. Sometimes he would do this on his own and eat enthusiastically as well. But it doesnt work everytime I guess, I hope it does

I wonder if he's got an injury inside of his beak that makes eating hard crumbles or pellets painful, and the moistened or softer foods (like the egg and rice) are easier for him?

My little rooster (3 months old) has been acting picky about food for a while. Sometimes he eats very little of his usual food, but when I offer something different like rice, he eats for a while until his crop is full, then can get bored and stop eating.

Do you have a photo of the bag of feed you are feeding and one of him too?

I would provide him with a nutritionally balanced Chick Starter that is 18-22% Protein.

Make sure he has Grit (Crushed Granite) available free choice.

Small treats a few times a week, like a little egg, fish, leftovers, etc. can be given.

Since this is a cockerel, he can eat Chick Starter all of his life if you wish. Otherwise, you can feed him an All Flock/Flock Raiser feed. He doesn't need to transition to a layer feed if that's what you mean by "adult feed". Layer feed is for actively laying birds, since he's a cockerel, layer feed is not suitable for him.

He likely is lonely if he's the only bird. Do you have a place outdoors where you can provide a small coop for him and a couple of hens? A cockerel/rooster is much happier being with hens and outside enjoying fresh air, dirt, etc.

Yes, when I make it stand, he can continue to stand in that way but generally it prefers to sit. So yes he can do but he dont do it generously. Even he can run when he following me.

But he doesn't stand with encouragement? Does he seem at all weak and wobbly when he does stand or walk?

If he's never been outside I'm wondering if vitamin D deficiency is part of the problem.
