Need help identifying this breed

    I know that one of the chickens in the photo is a barred rock but does anyone know the breed of the all black/brown chicken? [​IMG]

    Can you get any better pictures, including a close up of the face and chest?

    From what I can see, they look like Australorps.

    Agree they're probably Australorps (most common black breed) but a better pic would confirm.

    Thanks all - I can't get a better pic as this was sent to me from someone looking to rehome their chickens. I'm gonna assume Australorps - they look to be beautiful birds so it looks like I will be adding some silkies, barred rocks and Australorps to my family of chickens[​IMG]
