This is a picture of the back side of my buff Orpington. I only noticed this about 3 weeks ago but have been trying diagnose her issue.
I first thought it was mites but I cannot visibly see anything and the rest of my flock is not expiriencing any similar symptoms. She was giving eggs pretty regularly in January and February but nothing lately.

Thoughts ?
Feather pecking ?
Rooster damage ?
Illness ?
Other ?
400

Any advice would help

I would part the feathers to check for tiny tan bugs, or white clumps of lice eggs at the base of feathers. It does look like they are picking her feathers. Make sure they are getting 16-20% protein in their diet. Feed layer or flock raiser feed, and limit scratch or treats to less that 10% of their daily intake. Boredom and over crowding are other typical reasons for feather picking. Watch to see who is doing what. This is a common problem, and can become a habit.
