Need help in Susquehanna Township, PA

My Mama’s side of the family is from Clearfield County and has some relatives in Susquehanna Township also. I know that lots of that area used to be and still is old farm country. I find it hard to believe that ordinances would be strict barring hens for sure. I can see roosters but not hens.

I have read the codes- as mentioned before- the definition of small animal includes chickens, and keeping the 24 ft from residence and property line. I am curious though- they say it’s vague- but what is vague? It clearly does NOT state you can’t have chickens-
