It gets really confusing for new chicken keepers to understand the stages that developing eggs go through. At the storage stage I don’t think they need to be turned as the development is halted. The eggs do need to be turned when they are incubated up until the lockdown stage.It's preferable to turn them at least once a day on the counter to keep the yolk from sticking to the shell. They should either be stored on their sides or pointy side facing down.
