Need help integrating one new hen

I am adopting a Gingernut Ranger hen and want to integrate her to my flock of 7 Buff Orpington hens. Do I have to take precautions or know anything special? Sorry, just very new to chickens. Thanks for any and all suggestions!

Besides a quarantine of at least 3 wks, I would just put her in the coop after everyone else has roosted for the night. Works for me.

after the quarentine, i usually let them all outside at once, then put them back in the coop together. let them fight it out as long as they aren't suriouly injuring one another.

just let them do there thing, if it gets to bad yull just haft to eat her lol just kidding, i always just lrt them hang out in the coop and let my lead girls check the new ones out and my roo jumps right on them and its over after that usaully, there chickens let them be chickens
