Need HELP! Is there a way to reduce or stop rooster crowing!

I have a bantam cochin x silkie who is so small and neat and just perfect both to look at and temperament wise. She can get up onto the highest roosts with the big birds. She is near the bottom of the pecking order but holds her own in a large flock of mostly large fowl and raised her first brood of chicks last summer( 8 of them... all now bigger than her) within the flock without losing any of them.
I would certainly recommend that mix if you can find one.

I have seen some rather large cochins, so I think lazy gardener is correct on the bantam and large fowl.

All the silkies we've had (we've had about 10 so far) have roosted. I've read that some silkies don't like to roost, but ours always have. We have tiered roosts, so they can hop their way up to the top roost if that's where they want to be.

It doesn't matter if it likes to roost or not. I want one thats not much bigger than her (http://www.efowl.com/Mille_Fleur_d_Uccle_Bantam_Chickens_p/2338.htm) and is really friendly and lays eggs (fair amou t)
