Hi I added water to all three water(two side ducts full and a little in center duct) ducts right before initiating lock down and when i got home from work it says it is at 90%!!!! and has been for 8+ hours I opened the lid slightly and can hear pecking sounds . should I open the incubator move the now hatching eggs and poor the water out or just leave it?????????? it also is 99 degrees but keeps shifting between 98.6 and 100.6 degrees. I know the hygrometer is not off because i tested it a few days ego.

If there are no pips yet you can open the incubator, quickly take eggs out and pour out all the water. Replace only outer largest water trough with water. If that's not enough humidity then you can easily add a sponge with water or add water to center trough in a few hours.

The amount of surface area provided by all those troughs is far too much unless you live in a desert.

If birds have hatched or there are a lot of pips, your humidity will skyrocket. If there are no pips or hatched birds, burp the incubator like the previous poster suggested to bring down the humidity.
