So, I have 1 full grown rooster. And i want to get another rooster to get different kind of chickens. But i cant put them in together because they will fight because they don't know each other. So i want to build a seperate little coop just for the rooster, and i can switch the roosters out to go into the coop with the hens to get different varieties of chickens. Is this okay? How big should i make the coop and run? Please help, if you have any expierence on switching roos out please give me advice!!

Thank you, I will probably make that. But WAY smaller. LOL. Thank you for the reply.

Honestly, if I was only going to house one chicken, I'd probably just get a free or really cheap dog house off of Craigs List and modify it (cut out a clean out door/hinge it, add a roost, add a hinged door if you plan on shutting it at night, and cut out ventilation covered in wire). I'd set this house either on the ground or put it up on legs (2x4s), and wire in a run....maybe 4ft. x 4ft - could be whatever size you like...
