Need help Picking out my Next Hen, Have some Questions.

Hi, I currently Have 3 Peacocks and 2 Peahens and they are all about 8 Months old,

I have,

Male India Blue split white,

Male Black Shoulder IB split white,

IB SIlver Pied White Eye,

Female Green Spalding,

IB Black Shoulder Female with Pied Gene.

I would like to add another Female, I may try my hand at hatching a few babies, I know mine are not old enough yet but that is fine I can wait, I would like a nice looking female, and I would like a female that will produce a nice Peafowl with my males.

Can you guys also tell me what the combos may produce,

I was Thinking a Cameo or Bronze or a Opal.

I am not sure... It is completely personal preference. I like the colors you suggested at the bottom. Since you are in NY, Norm Johnson in Ithaca, NY has those color peafowl, so you could contact him and see what he has available. The think is many of his birds a spaldings, so if you like opal spalding, cameo spalding, and bronze spalding, then Medicine Tree Farm has what you are looking for! I like spaldings, I would like them to be Black Shoulders, I Spoke with Norm but it has been a while.

Well contact him again and see what he has. He had very nice blackshoulder spalding hens last time I was there a few months ago for sale. Good luck!
