Need help please!

I've recently just finished up building my first chicken "pen" or "coop". It's 8'x12' as of now. I'm getting 3 chickens later on today, but I was wondering how many chickens (max) I could keep in my pen? Here's some pics the first one isn't a picture of it complete, just during the process. Any help is appreciated. Also any advice about adding anything to my coop that would be helpful is appreciated thanks!

Tough one. I am getting three tomorrow, and my pen isnt as big but has an enclosed house for them at nights (Scotland). I'd say a max of 6-8, but that might be a bit cruel having that many in that space. I don't know, my neighbours have 5 chickens in a space just smaller than that, they seemed fine about it.

My coop is a 24 x 12 the inclosed "house" is 8 x 10 we have 14 all together. They are fine an happy.

It's recommended that the coop be 4sq ft per bird and the run 10sq ft per bird. So your coop (8'x12') could house 24 birds. You'd need a chicken run of 240sq ft, or free range

Where are you located? Have you done research over the different predators are in your area? Even if you haven't seen them, they are there
