Need Help QUICK!!!-- Update---Pictures on pg. 5

My first duckling pipped on a Monday morning and didnt hatch til Wednesday after 3 pm. I was getting tempted to help and told DH if it didnt do something by evening I was going to help,but when it started to zip it went fast.

I've only hatched ducks once. But they came out of the eggs within minutes after they pip for me. Way better than my chickens haha

try tapping a coin on the table(or what ever your incubator is on) to get them to come out. I don't know if it actually does anything, but its something my grandpa taught me and it seems to help get them out of the eggs to me. Must be similar to the mothers sounds when she moves around or chirps or something haha

The first one to pip still has not done anything else. However 4 of the others are making more (3) cracks in the shell, still no breakthroughs. They all have at least 2 cracks in the shell (except the first one). It's been almost 48 hours since the first one pipped.

So I leave the hatcher to come to the computer to update. When I go back to look at the hatcher (after I submit the update), I see that silly little #1 has put a second crack in his shell! Little buggers are just waiting for me to leave the room before they do anything.
