Need Help Quick

I had a chick hatch about an hour ago with my help. He was all sticky when I got him out. I think he had been trying to hatch since yesterday. Now that he's drying he getting all stiff. How do I get him straighten out and get the dryed sticky off him.


Do you guys think I should take him out of the incubator and put him under the heat lamp with his siblings or leave him in the bator over night?

Do you mean that his down is all stiff? Why not take a damp washcloth and gently wipe him off?

yeah I hope thats all it is, I started trying to get it off him right after he hatched but I was afraid I would cill him and he would die anyway. I will try that again
