Need Help! Retreiving deer off of someone elses property...

It's only been 12 hours. Then, take into consideration that it didn't die instantly, so there's another hour or so taken off, maybe more. Depending on the weather, you could leave it there for 2-3 days, if not longer, without any issue.

Yes if the deer did not die instantly (which it didnt) and the weather is cool enough the deer will last a few days.

Farmer chick _ My land has steps built over the fences so its easier for hunting and it keeps them from opening gates so all animals stay in correct pastures! Cheap and easy to do!

Did yall call the Game Warden? I hate to say it to you but as a property owner, it seems he is within his rights. I know it sucks, and iffin I were your neighbor you would have had your deer. Around here you can get in trouble for not going after the deer. You may havehad a little leeway if you had not contacted the land owner and not been told no. Now that you've been told no, well, its no.

I am sorry this has happened to you.

That's fine if you don't mind strangers hunting on your land. I hope you've got good liabilty insurance so when they accidently shoot each other or fall out of their tree stand, or break their ankle because they stepped in a hole and blame you because you allowed them to hunt on your ground your b u t t is covered.

No, all 50 states have recreational use statutes that protect landowners from liability from such things.
