Need help sexing Muscovys plz

Could y'all help me sexing my Muscovys plz. Also, Are these pure Muscovy or mule ducks. I know for sure mother was Muscovy

They look pure to me. Here's a quick guess:

Blue for male, pink for female, purple for undecided (although I would suspect female). I make no guarantees in my guesses.

Thank you so much for your unguaranteed experience lol. Do you have a guess on how long till they start laying clutches of eggs

That would be difficult to say, it all depends on the duck. Mine were all too young before winter hit so didn't lay until spring, when they were around 7 months old or maybe more. I never expect the year's babies to start laying until next year.

Considering you have GRASS in your pictures, I would suspect you don't have the harsh and long winters I do, lol!

I'm in south Louisiana. We have mild short winters, and long hot and humid summers

I agree with @Canadian Wind about the sexes. They are still pretty young and haven't fully feathered. They won't start laying till about 24 to 28 weeks of age. Yours look about 8 weeks old to me, so you still have a bit to go. They can delay in the winter, but yours won't come of age in the winter.
