Hey everyone,
I have 7 chickens that are 6 weeks old as of yesterday. I am convinced I have 5 hens and 2 roosters. I am showing the two I think are roos and one that looks like a hen to me and all the others have the same beak as her. I don't see any wattles forming on the beaks of the 2 that look like roos to me.
-Picture 1 is what I think is a hen.
-Picture 2-3 and picture 6 is the same chicken.
-Picture 4-5 is also the same chicken.
Thanks!

First picture looks like a pullet, other pictures look like cockerels.
Agreed. Really interesting genetic link between pea comb, and lack of wattles! For true Ameraucanas and the hatchery Americanas, and what this site recognizes as old school Easter Eggers (EEs) whether cockerel or pullet you're not going to see wattles!

From your photos it looks like you may have real Ameraucanas!

Thats really interesting about the wattle/pea comb connection. Thanks for the input.
