Need help sexing my Australorps

Hi everyone,

I adopted 2 Australorps (refugees of the pandemic...someone bought chicks because they thought there would be an egg shortage and tried to raise these babies in a cage in an apartment). My friend rescued them and brought them to me. I don’t know how old they are, but I am thinking 20 weeks? Are they pullets?

Those are Black Copper Marans pullets.

Lucky you! They are gorgeous and you will get lovely brown eggs when they lay. They do tend to be late layers, can be 8 months old before they do, so be patient with these beauties!

I agree, they are BCM pullets. Probably around 14-15 weeks old.
