Help needed, im not sure what to do here

For context, we had to separate a hen from eggs she was sitting on, because she was attacking chicks as soon as they hatched. We had put the eggs we took in the same container as the hurt chicks we were trying to save (unfortunately they didn't make it). To my surprise, one started hatching despite the fact we didn't put it in an incubator.

When i found it, it had poked a hole in the egg with its head and foot exposed. Should I intervene? How should I intervene if I should? Im afraid to move it, but currently its only under a heat lamp since we weren't expecting it to hatch.

Please help

It should be fine under the lamp, if you’re worried about shrink wrapping from the membrane you can mist with water or apply water carefully to the outside shell.
Two years ago I had this happen with one of my ducks, Bee killed her first ducklings as soon as they started to pip so I had to take the last egg the second I could see the duckling starting to push on the membrane. I would wet my hands down every 15 minutes or so and carefully rub my wet hands over the outside of the egg. I didn’t have to wait long because Truffle never internally pipped, he busted his way out of the side of his egg without bothering with the process normal hatchlings like to go through.

Looking at your egg I don’t think you’ll have too long to wait.

thank you for your response, its very reassuring
I was worried it'd be in a bad spot, but now I feel better. I will keep an eye on the chick and make sure the rest goes smoothly though.

thanks again!
