Need help solving mystery quickly!

Vetafarm's Wormout Gel is a good broad spectrum wormer to add to water. It contains praziquantel and oxfendazole. I have used it, and it needs a lot of stirring to mix well. I used hot water at first, stirred, and then added the rest cold. It treats all chicken worms when given over 2 days, including capillary, tapeworm, roundworms, cecal, and gapeworm. Foys Pigeon Supply online is one of a couple that sell it. Casportpony has reported on someone using Valbazen in the water for a day, but I cannot find the amount. I have tried Valbazen in water, but it seems to settle.

I agree, if you don't have a heavy worm load, you can use the pumpkin seeds to control the load you have and keep from getting MORE, but right now, the OP needs to drop the worm load and probably needs to drop it quite a bit. Pumpkin seeds won't cut it, or at least not fast enough.
I agree in this case that a wormer would be best as it is seems to be a heavy work load and meds are quicker way to treat. Only provided this info due to them saying they had no way to access a traditional wormer.

The only thing immediately accessible is the safe guard which says to use 5 consecutive days. This will have to do until I can get worm out ordered and find out when I can use it after safe guard. Thanks to everyone for all of your help!!

When feed consumption is good or high and you have weight loss, drop in egg production it's a good indicator you have works or other parasites. If you cannot get a wormer feed pumpkin seeds, garlic, Bragg's or other unprocessed ACV with "mother" in it. Nasturtium flowers and seeds can be used too. Some do not take to garlic just peel clove and place in waterer. Some of mine love pumpkin seeds some won't touch em with 10ft pole, for those that won't I put in food processor and mix in feed. You can also feed DE in food. Make sure it's food grade tho.

so does DE food grade act as a wormer?
and if so how much per bird?

No. It is not effective for a wormer.

Some studies have shown some lines of poultry have gained more weight after consuming DE, however, other lines did nothing.

Some lines were worse with DE.

There is nothing in the DE that will prevent worms. The idea of "cutting up" the worms would also cut up a hen's intestines. It has shown mild effectiveness for external parasites, however, it must remain dry to do so. Inside a hen is hardly dry.

Use bone fide wormers.
