Have you tried getting help here on BYC? Many are pretty good at diagnosing chickens. Your challenge is not just finding a vet who will travel but also one that knows ANYTHING about birds.Hi I need help to find mobile vet that's not to expensive and who that would come in argyle new York. How old is your chick and what is your issue as far as you can tell? Do you have others? What are you feeding?
You might be able to use the words avian or exotic vet in your google search.![]()

I do see that many don't treat avian. But these are a few mobile ones in NY. Maybe you can at least ask them if they can direct you on the right path or know of any that may be able to help.
Very seriously... many of us are capable of doing things we never thought possible when it comes to helping those we care about.
Something else you might look into is calling any avian rehabilitation or rescue centers... MANY have volunteers that will do the traveling to help animals out.... Alternatively... you might look for someone to give you a ride to the vet... like a taxi or Uber for the same cost as having one come out. I have anxiety that makes it extremely hard to leave the house... so I don't know if these are options for you... but brainstorming to try and help you figure SOMETHING out!![]()
Yes I know that I use to have goats where a vet cane came to give them shots . And iam adult I just live with my mom my dad past away 13 years ago. Hey at least I got a chanceDo you know how expensive that would be? Not only would you have to pay for the veterinary call, but mileage also. Most (if not all) vets who travel for large animals expect you to bring in your smaller ones. Would you be paying for this yourself, or are you still living with your parents? I honestly don’t think you’re going to have any luck with this. What’s going on with your bird?
